Straight Answers

Including the times the honest answer is no, or that you do not need me. I would rather say that here than on a call.

Working With Me

Who will I actually be working with?
You work directly with me, start to finish. There is no account manager, no ticket queue, and nothing handed off to a contractor or an offshore team.
Do I need to know exactly what I want first?
No, a rough idea is plenty. That is what the free consultation is for. I talk it through with you and help you shape the right scope before anything is quoted.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes, the call is free with no commitment and no sales pressure. If it is a fit I will walk you through next steps; if it is not, you still leave with useful direction.
How soon will I hear back?
Within one business day, and usually sooner. Every message comes straight to me, so there is no queue to sit in and no assistant to route you.
How long does a typical project take?
Most custom sites take three to six weeks from approved proposal to launch, depending on page count and how quickly content comes together. I give you a real timeline in the proposal, not a guess.
What is the best way to reach you?
Whatever is easiest for you. The routed options on the contact page send me your details with the right context, or you can call or text 208-932-4311 directly.

Pricing & Payment

How does your pricing work?
Every project is fixed-scope and fixed-price, agreed before any work starts. You approve the number up front and it holds, so there is no hourly creep and no surprise invoice at the end.
Will you really beat another quote?
Yes. Bring me any legitimate US quote, for any work, whether I quoted it first or not, and I beat it by 10%. I verify the quote is real first. Full terms in Section 8.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, 20% off for nonprofits, veterans, and active-duty military. Just mention it when you reach out and I apply it to your proposal. Discounts do not stack, so if more than one applies you get the larger of them.
Do you require a long-term contract?
No. There are no long-term contracts and no forced renewals. Maintenance is month to month unless you choose to lock a term for a discount.
Are hosting and third-party services marked up?
No. If hosting, domains, and tools are on your own accounts, you pay those providers directly at their real cost and I never add a margin. Managed hosting is worth stating plainly because it is different: that is my own service at $24.99 or $49.99 a month on hosting I run and manage, with the storage and visit figures stated on the plan detail, at checkout, and in the Terms before you pay, not a resold plan with a markup buried in it, and no referral or commission is involved in it. The disclosure that does apply is for the other path: if you set up your own hosting I recommend SiteGround and use my referral link, so they pay me a referral fee. It does not change what you pay them, it is not why I recommend them, and if you would rather not use the link, say so and I will send you a plain one.
What is the difference between hosting and the care plan?
Hosting keeps your site online. Care keeps it looked after. Hosting covers the server, your storage and visit allowance, backups, and monitoring, at $24.99 or $49.99 a month. The care plan covers updates, security, fixes, and edits to your existing site, at $149.99 a month. They are separate products and you can have either, both, or neither. Backups belong to whoever holds the hosting account, so you never pay for them twice: if I host your site they come with the hosting, and if the hosting account is yours they are a care-plan item.
If my site is on your hosting, do I still own it?
Yes. On managed hosting I hold the hosting account, and that is the only thing I hold. The site itself, files, content, database, and code, is yours, and your domain stays registered in your name. If you leave, a complete export of your files and database is free, always, and if you want me to move the site onto your new host and set it up, that is a flat $199. There is no exit fee. There is a price for the migration, and only if you want it.
How and when do I pay?
Every project offers the same two ways to pay, whatever its size: pay the full total up front and take 10% off, or split it into three equal monthly payments, the first charged when you accept the quote and the next two a month apart. No interest and no financing charge. Maintenance is separate and billed monthly. Your proposal spells out the exact terms before any work begins, so nothing is a surprise.

Maintenance & Support

Do I have to buy a maintenance plan?
No, it is completely optional. You own everything at launch and can maintain the site yourself or hire anyone; the care plan is there only if you would rather I handle it.
What does maintenance cost?
Care is a single plan at $149.99 a month, month to month. Lock a term and save: 5% at six months, 10% at twelve, 20% at twenty-four, and 30% at thirty-six.
What does the care plan include?
Updates, security monitoring, backups, and small fixes as they come up, so the site stays healthy without you thinking about it.
I already have a site. Can you maintain it?
Often yes. Send me the URL and what you need and I will tell you honestly whether I can take it on and what the right plan or fix would be.
How do I request a fix or change?
Send it my way and it comes straight to me. Care-plan clients have a simple request flow in the portal (Portal Coming Soon), and I confirm timing within one business day.
Can I cancel maintenance anytime?
Yes, with no lock-in. Care is billed monthly, so you can cancel any time and it ends at the close of the month you have already paid for. There is no cancellation fee. If you locked in a discounted term and leave it early, you do not pay the rest of it: the months you actually used get re-rated to the longest term you completed, capped so you never pay more than month-to-month for that time.
Is after-hours support included?
Regular support runs during business hours and is part of the care plan. True after-hours emergencies are billed at $150 an hour with a one-hour minimum, so you are never charged for something that could have waited until morning.

Ownership & Technical

Do I really own everything?
Yes. At final payment the domain, the database, and every file transfer to you. There is no rented platform and no lock-in, so you can host it anywhere and hire anyone to work on it.
What is the site built with?
Custom-coded WordPress, kept lightweight, not a bloated page builder. That means a faster site and clean code you or any other developer can actually maintain.
Will my site work on phones?
Yes. Every build is designed mobile-first and tested at six widths from a 390px phone to a 1440px desktop, since most of your visitors are on a phone.
Do you handle SEO?
Yes, with honest expectations. I build clean, fast, search-friendly sites and can take on ongoing SEO, but I give you real odds and timelines instead of guarantees.
Is my site accessible and ADA-friendly?
Accessibility is built in as standard practice, from semantic markup to color contrast and keyboard support. For stricter compliance needs I can scope that specifically.
Can you move my existing site to a new host?
Yes. Migrations are something I do regularly, and I handle the move so your site stays up with minimal disruption to visitors.

Local & Remote

Where are you based?
Kuna, Idaho, right in the Treasure Valley. Local is the front door, not a fence, so nearby businesses get a neighbor and everyone else gets the same direct access.
Do you work with clients outside Idaho?
Absolutely. I am based in Idaho but work 100% remotely with businesses nationwide, and every engagement runs fully remote from start to finish.
Which Idaho areas do you serve?
All of the Treasure Valley and beyond, including Kuna, Nampa, Boise, Meridian, Caldwell, Eagle, and Star, plus clients across the rest of the state.
Can we meet in person?
Every engagement runs fully remote, local ones included. Working remotely keeps things fast and keeps your cost down, and most projects run start to finish over calls, email, and a shared staging link. You still get direct access to me the whole way, and being Kuna-based means I am on your time zone.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Mountain Time. I am closed weekends and federal holidays, but messages left then are answered first thing the next business day.
STILL WONDERING
