Idaho nonprofits run on tight budgets and depend on credibility to drive donations, volunteer signups, and program participation. A weak website undermines all three. Most of the nonprofit sites I audit were built years ago by a volunteer on a free template, load slowly, are hard to update, and look like every other nonprofit site in the state. Silver Fox Web Designs offers a 20% nonprofit discount on top of already-published Treasure Valley pricing, so a budget-constrained organization can still get a real, custom-coded site.
What Idaho nonprofits actually need
- Credibility: donors evaluate your site before they evaluate your mission
- Donation handling: Stripe, PayPal Giving, or WooCommerce-integrated giving
- Event management: registration, payments, attendance tracking
- Volunteer signup: clear paths from interest to action
- Program transparency: annual reports, financials, impact stories
- Newsletter integration: Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or self-hosted
- Strong local SEO: Idaho donors and volunteers find you by location
- Mobile-first design: most traffic and most donations now happen on phones
How the 20% discount works
Standard Treasure Valley pricing applies, with 20% off for any registered 501(c)(3) Idaho nonprofit. On the published starting prices, that puts a $1,750 design project at $1,400 and a $2,000 development build at $1,600. Verification is a copy of your 501(c)(3) determination letter or current IRS listing, checked at intake and applied before I send the quote, not after you’ve paid full price.
Discounts do not combine. If more than one applies to you, the largest single one is what you get, and I work that out for you rather than making you do the math. So a nonprofit that also qualifies for the veteran or active-duty rate is not on 40%. The pay-in-full reduction is different: it is not a discount competing for that slot, so choosing to pay the full total up front still takes a further 10% off the nonprofit rate on any project. Whichever single standing discount is worth more to you is the one applied.
The maintenance plan, at the nonprofit rate
Once your site is live, ongoing care runs $149.99 a month standard, $119.99 a month for a verified nonprofit. That covers backups, WordPress core and plugin updates, security monitoring, uptime alerts, and routine edits to the existing site: swapping a board photo, updating a fundraising deadline, fixing something that broke. New pages or new features are quoted separately; the plan is for keeping what you already have accurate and working. Cancel anytime in the client portal, no fee, no call required.
