Managed WordPress Hosting,Handled.

Managed hosting from $24.99 a month, or host it yourself on an account in your own name. Your domain stays in your name either way.

From $24.99/mo

Fixed scope at a fixed price, quoted in writing before any work begins. What you approve up front is what you pay.

Ongoing

This is the schedule you can expect, agreed with you before anything starts. Nothing about the timing gets discovered halfway through.

One Developer

The person who scopes this work is the person who builds it. Nothing is handed to a junior or sent offshore.

100% Yours

The domain, the database, and every file transfer to you at final payment. There is no license to keep paying for and nothing to buy out later.

TWO WAYS TO DO IT

Who Holds the Hosting Account.

That is the whole decision. Everything else on this page follows from it, so it is worth thirty seconds.

Most Popular

I Host It

$24.99/month billed monthly

For owners who would rather not think about hosting at all. The comparable plan is $34.99 month to month, and only matches my price if you pay two years up front. And I manage it, which is the actual point.

  • I keep it patched, monitored, and backed up daily
  • I get the alert at 2 AM, not you
  • Your domain stays registered in your name
  • The hosting account is mine, not yours
Or hold it yourself

An Account in Your Name

No fee from me you pay the host

For owners who want the hosting account itself in their name and are happy to run it themselves.

  • You hold the hosting login and pay the host directly, at their price
  • I do not mark up your host’s price or your domain
  • I recommend SiteGround and use my referral link, and I say so first
  • Setup, renewals, and support are yours, unless you are on a care plan or have prepaid hours

The difference is who holds the hosting account. If I host it, that is me, which is exactly what lets me patch and monitor without asking you for a login every time. If you hold it, that is yours to keep an eye on. I recommend the first for most sites because $24.99 a month is what the comparable plan costs only if you prepay two years, and it is one less thing you own the problem for. And I earn something on either path, so I have no reason to steer you.

TRUE ON BOTH PATHS

What Stays Yours Either Way.

Managed hosting changes where your site sits. It does not change what belongs to you.

Your Domain, In Your Name

The domain is registered to you, always, on both paths. Whatever happens between us, you keep the address people type.

The Site Is Still Yours

Files, content, database, and the code I wrote. Ownership transfers at final payment and managed hosting does not touch that. I own the hosting account, not the website.

There Is an Exit

Billing stops at the end of the month you have paid for and the site stays up 30 more days. A complete export of your files and database is free, always. If you want me to move it onto your new host and set it up, that is a flat $199.

MANAGED HOSTING PLANS

Two Plans, and Where They Stop.

Hosting I run and manage, billed monthly. The cards below sell by fit rather than by specification, because fit is what actually tells you which plan you belong on. The exact storage and visit figures are one click away, on your plan detail, at checkout, and in the Terms. If you would rather hold the account anyway, that is the other path and I will point you at a plan that fits.

Standard Hosting

Most of the sites I build live here.

$24.99/ month
  • A brochure or local business site
  • Services, gallery, contact form, a blog
  • Steady local traffic rather than campaign spikes
Performance Hosting

For a site doing more work than that.

$49.99/ month
  • A store, a booking site, or a busy blog
  • Heavier pages, more products, more images
  • Traffic that arrives in waves
Bigger Than That

Sites that have outgrown shared hosting.

Your own plannot a tier of mine
Why there is no third plan here

Past Performance you are better off on a dedicated plan or a cloud account in your own name, so that is what I will tell you rather than selling you a larger version of mine. I will help you work out which one fits and what it costs. Moving the site there is a flat $199, and if you want me to keep managing it once it is there, that is a separate quote.

The exact storage and visit figures

Standard is 5 GB of storage and 25,000 visits a month. Performance is 10 GB and 50,000. They are also on your plan detail, at the checkout step, and in the Terms, so no number ever reaches you for the first time in a notice.

They are the basis the plan is priced and reviewed on, not a switch that flips. Nothing is capped, throttled, or cut off. I read usage monthly and raise it with you if a site is consistently over.

Usage is measured monthly, not by the minute. If a site is over an allowance for two consecutive months I send you a notice with the numbers I am seeing and what I suggest, and any change starts the following billing cycle. Two months rather than one, so a press mention or a busy season does not move you onto a bigger plan you do not need. Nothing is charged without you saying yes.

TWO MONTHLY LINE ITEMS

Hosting Keeps It Online. Care Keeps It Looked After.

These are separate products at separate prices. You can have either, both, or neither. Here is the difference in one look.

Managed Hosting

$24.99 or $49.99 / month

Where your site lives. The server and the plumbing underneath it.

  • The server and its resources
  • Your storage and visit allowance
  • Server-level patching and SSL
  • Daily backups, kept 30 days, while your site is on my hosting
  • Uptime monitoring, and I get the alert

Care Plan

$149.99 / month

The work done on your site, wherever it happens to be hosted.

  • WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates
  • Security scanning and hardening
  • Fixes when something breaks
  • Edits to your existing site
  • A monthly report, and a person to call

Hosting is where your site lives. Care is the work done on it. A site on your own hosting can still be on my care plan, and a site on my hosting does not have to be. If you want both, they stay two clear line items instead of one bundled number you cannot take apart.

Backups belong to whoever holds the hosting account, so nobody pays for them twice. If I host your site, backups come with the hosting and the care plan does not charge for them. If the hosting account is yours, backups are a care-plan item, because I am reaching into an account I do not control to make sure the copies exist and actually restore.

ON YOUR OWN ACCOUNT · WHAT I CAN HANDLE

What I Can Handle on Your Account.

  • Hosting & Server SetupThe right host for your site, with PHP, OPcache, and host-level caching tuned.
  • Domain & DNSRegistration guidance and DNS records set correctly, on your own account.
  • Business EmailReal email on your domain, with MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured so it lands.
  • SSLHTTPS set up and verified so browsers trust your site from day one.
  • Never ResoldOn an account you hold, you pay that provider directly and I add no markup. My own managed hosting is my service at my own published price, not a resold plan.
  • Included in a BuildIf I am building your site, hosting setup comes with the project. Everything is configured and tested before launch, at no extra charge.
  • Or on a Plan or HoursOutside a build, this work runs on a care plan or on prepaid development hours. Prepaid hours are open to anyone, plan or no plan.
THE HONEST PART

How I Handle Hosting.

Most studios quietly resell hosting at a markup and never say whose account your site sits on. I do not mark up anyone else’s hosting, and where I do hold the account, it says so on this page instead of leaving you to find out.

I do not mark up someone else’s hosting

If the account is in your name, you own it and pay the host directly, at their price. No markup, no middleman on your monthly bill.

Managed hosting is my own product

The $24.99 and $49.99 plans are mine, priced flat, on hosting I run and manage. You are not paying a margin stacked on top of someone else’s plan, and the storage and visit figures are stated on your plan detail, at checkout, and in the Terms before you pay.

You can leave either way

Your own account is already in your name. On managed hosting a complete export of your files and database is free, always, and the migration itself is optional. Walking away is easy on purpose.

Where a referral fee applies, and where it does not

If you set up your own hosting I recommend SiteGround and use my referral link, so they pay me a referral fee. It does not change what you pay them, it is not why I recommend them, and if you would rather not use the link, say so and I will send you a plain one. If I host it, no referral or commission is involved at all: the $24.99 or $49.99 is for hosting your site and managing it. I earn something either way, which is exactly why I have no reason to push you one direction.

ON YOUR OWN ACCOUNT · HOW IT WORKS

Your Account, and Where I Fit.

01
I Point You at a Host

I recommend a plan that fits your site and budget. For your own account that is SiteGround, through my referral link, and you hear that from me first.

02
You Set It Up and Own It

The account goes in your name. The login, the billing, and the renewals are yours, and I never mark up what you pay them.

03
If I Am Building Your Site

Hosting setup comes with the project: server, DNS, email, and SSL configured and tested so everything is ready at launch.

04
If You Want Me On It Afterwards

A care plan or prepaid hours covers hosting help of any kind, from setup to a one-off request. Prepaid hours are open to anyone. Without either, support comes from your host, because it is their account and your login.

FAQ

Questions I Hear a Lot.

If you host my site, do I still own it?

Yes. The hosting account is mine, the website is yours: files, content, database, and the code I wrote. Your domain stays registered in your name, and ownership of the site transfers at final payment either way.

What happens if I want to leave managed hosting?

Billing stops at the end of the month you have already paid for, and the site stays up for another 30 days after that. A complete export of your files and database is handed over free, in every case. It is your property and I am already holding it as a backup, so charging for it would make “you own your site” hollow. If you want me to move the site onto your new host and set it up there, that is a flat $199, covering a standard WordPress destination; anything unusual gets quoted. So there is no exit fee. There is a price for the migration, and only if you want it. After the 30 days I take the site down and remove it and its backups from my account. Thirty days because it matches the backup window, and because it is long enough to find a developer rather than only long enough to move a site you already know where to put.

What happens if I go over an allowance?

Nothing happens after one month. If your site is over for two consecutive months I send you a notice with the numbers I am seeing and what I suggest, and any change starts the following billing cycle. Nothing is capped or throttled and nothing is charged without you saying yes. On Performance the notice reads differently, because there is no larger plan of mine to move into: it says your site has outgrown shared hosting and recommends what I would do instead.

Is hosting the same as the care plan?

No, they are two separate products. Hosting keeps your site online at $24.99 or $49.99 a month. The care plan keeps it looked after at $149.99 a month. You can have either or both, and they stay separate line items on your bill. Backups belong to whoever holds the hosting account, so you never pay for them twice: if I host your site they come with the hosting, and if the hosting account is yours they are a care-plan item.

Do you make money on my hosting?

On your own account, yes, in one way, so here it is plainly. You pay SiteGround directly at their price and I never mark that up, but I recommend them and use my referral link, so they pay me a fee for the signup. It does not change what you pay them, and if you would rather not use the link, ask and I will send you a plain one. If I host it, the answer is different: there is no referral and no commission involved at all, and the $24.99 or $49.99 is for hosting your site and managing it, with the figures stated before you pay. I earn something on both paths, so I have no reason to steer you toward either.

Do I own the hosting account?

If you set it up yourself, yes, every account in your name. If I host it, I hold the hosting account and you hold everything else, including the domain and the site itself.

Can you set up business email?

Yes, on your own domain, with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured so your mail is trusted and lands in inboxes. That is true on both paths.

Is this included in a build?

Yes. If I am building your site, hosting setup comes with the project on either path, so the server, DNS, email, and SSL are configured and tested before launch at no extra charge. Managed hosting itself is optional and separate, so a new build can go onto my hosting or onto an account in your own name, whichever suits you better.

Will you help with my own hosting account?

It depends on whether we have a working arrangement, so here it is plainly. If I am building your site, hosting setup is part of the project. After that, hosting help of any kind runs on the care plan at $149.99 a month, or on prepaid development hours, which anyone can buy whether they are on a plan or not. Without either, your hosting is yours to run and your host supports it, because it is their account and your login. That is not me being difficult; I cannot be responsible for an account I do not hold and am not being paid to watch.
