WordPress Security Hardening,Locked Down Before It’s a Problem.
Hands-on hardening across every layer, verified by hand, not a single plugin.
Fixed scope at a fixed price, quoted in writing before any work begins. What you approve up front is what you pay.
This is the schedule you can expect, agreed with you before anything starts. Nothing about the timing gets discovered halfway through.
The person who scopes this work is the person who builds it. Nothing is handed to a junior or sent offshore.
The domain, the database, and every file transfer to you at final payment. There is no license to keep paying for and nothing to buy out later.
The Basics, Done Properly.
- Login & admin surface lockdown (2FA-ready, rate limiting)
- File, folder & database permission audit
- XML-RPC, REST, and user-enumeration hardening
- Security headers & SSL configuration review
- Core, plugin & theme integrity check
- Written hardening report with before and after
What Security Can and Cannot Promise.
Anyone selling you a 100% unhackable guarantee is selling you a story. Here is the honest version of how site security actually works.
A security plugin is monitoring, not hardening. I close the actual holes by hand and verify each one.
Every site gets the same disciplined pass: login, permissions, endpoints, headers, integrity. Nothing skipped.
One-time hardening is a fixed engagement. If you have an active infection, I scope cleanup separately and tell you straight.
Harden, Watch, Recover.
I scan the live site for exposed entry points, weak permissions, and known-vulnerable plugins.
I lock down the login and admin surface, fix permissions, and close the common attack vectors by hand.
I re-run the checklist and integrity checks to confirm every item is resolved.
You get a written report of what was changed and what to watch going forward.
How the Site Is Hardened.
Hardening Layers
Real hardening is not one switch. It is several layers, each closing a different class of attack, done by hand and verified.
Questions I Hear a Lot.
Is this the same as installing a security plugin?
No. A plugin watches for trouble; hardening removes the openings in the first place. I do the manual lockdown by hand, and a plugin, if you want one, is a monitoring layer on top.
Do you remove malware?
Hardening is preventative and is a one-time fixed engagement. If your site is already infected, that is incident response, and I scope it separately as a custom quote so the pricing stays honest.
Will hardening break my site?
I work against a checklist, on staging where possible, and verify each change. The goal is a locked-down site that behaves exactly as before for legitimate users.
How long does it take?
Most one-time hardening passes are done in a few business days, depending on the size of the site and how many plugins are in play.
Do you offer ongoing security?
Yes. Continuous scanning, firewall, and updates are part of the Maintenance & Care plan. One-time hardening is the foundation; maintenance keeps it that way.
